Hill’s Pet Nutrition Voluntarily Recalls Select Canned Dog Food for Excessive Vitamin D

In the United States, the affected canned dog foods were distributed through retail pet stores and veterinary clinics nationwide. No dry foods, cat foods, or treats are affected.

If you have fed any of the food included in the recall and your pet is ill, please call to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. If your pet is not showing any signs of illness, you are welcome to monitor for issues and call at that time. In most cases, complete recovery is expected after discontinuation of feeding.

If you have purchased any of the products included in the recall through Mason Animal Hospital, please return any unopened cans to us for a refund. Please contact Hill's directly to discuss any other reimbursement.
